Stir-Fried Three Delights

Story

This comforting stir-fry combines three protein-rich ingredients into one delicious dish. The key is cooking each component separately first, then bringing them together for a final quick toss.

Ingredients

pork tenderloin 200g
ham 100g
eggs 2 large
cooking oil 3 tablespoons
cornstarch 1 tablespoon
water 4 tablespoons
chicken powder 1/2 teaspoon
MSG 1/4 teaspoon
salt 1/2 teaspoon
green onions for garnish

Instructions

1

Prepare the ingredients

Cut the pork into thin strips about 5cm long. Cut the ham into similar-sized strips. Crack the eggs into a bowl and beat until well combined.

2

Scramble the eggs

Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a wok over medium heat. Pour in the beaten eggs and scramble until just set and golden on the edges. Remove from pan and set aside. Once cooled, cut the egg sheets into strips.

3

Cook the pork

Add the remaining oil to the wok and heat until shimmering. Add the pork strips and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until they turn white and are nearly cooked through.

4

Combine and finish

Add the ham strips and egg strips to the wok with the pork. Toss everything together for about 1 minute. Mix cornstarch with water to make a slurry, then pour it over the mixture. Add chicken powder, MSG, and salt. Stir until the sauce thickens and coats everything evenly. Garnish with green onions and serve hot.
