Winter Melon Stewed with Old Duck

Ingredients

old duck (washed, blanched briefly in boiling water, removed and rinsed, cut into pieces) half
winter melon (peeled, deseeded, washed, cut into chunks) 300 g
ham (cut into chunks) 30 g
scallion segments to taste
stock to taste
salt to taste
cooking wine to taste
MSG to taste

Prepare the Ingredients

Peel, deseed, and wash the winter melon, then cut it into chunks. Cut the ham into chunks. Wash the old duck, blanch it briefly in boiling water, remove it, rinse it clean, and cut it into pieces.

Stewing

Place the duck pieces, stock, winter melon chunks, ham chunks, scallion segments, and cooking wine into a clay pot. Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce to low heat and simmer for 2 hours.

Seasoning

Finally, season with salt and MSG to taste.
