whipping (heavy) cream 1 cup

powdered sugar 2 tablespoons

baking cocoa 1 tablespoon

peppermint extract 1/4 teaspoon

milk 6 cups

white baking chips 3 cups

peppermint extract 1/2 teaspoon

Candy canes or crushed hard peppermint candies (if desired)

Instructions

Step 1

In chilled small bowl, beat whipping cream, powdered sugar, cocoa and 1/4 teaspoon peppermint extract with electric mixer on high speed until stiff peaks form. Cover and refrigerate until serving time.

Step 2

Heat milk just to simmering over medium-low heat (do not boil). Reduce heat to low. Add baking chips; stir constantly with wire whisk until melted and smooth. Stir in 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract.
