Ingredients

round butter dinner rolls (large) 6
romaine lettuce (washed) 6 slices
onion (sliced into rings) 1
ground beef 300 g
minced onion 50 g
minced carrot 30 g
hard-boiled egg (chopped) 1/2
pepper salt 1 tsp
cornstarch 1 tbsp
mayonnaise 200 g
minced pickles 1 tbsp
tomato ketchup 30 g

Instructions

1

Making Thousand Island Sauce

Chop the hard-boiled egg, then mix it together with minced onion, minced pickles, mayonnaise, and tomato ketchup until well combined.

2

Making Burger Patties

Chop the hard-boiled egg, then mix it with the ground beef, minced onion, minced carrot, pepper salt, and cornstarch. Stir in one direction until the mixture becomes sticky. Divide evenly into 6 portions and shape each into a round ball. Place the balls in a flat pan and press with a spatula into round patties. Flip and pan-fry until both sides are golden brown.

3

Assembling the Burger

Toast the dinner rolls until warm, slice them horizontally through the middle, spread with Thousand Island sauce, add the washed romaine lettuce, then place a patty on top.

4

Garnishing

Wash the onion and slice it into rings. Place a few rings on top of the patty, then squeeze on some more Thousand Island sauce to finish.
