Arched Curve with Subtle Color Variations
After coating OPP base paper with orange pigment, fine speckles are dabbed on with a sponge, gold powder is layered on top, and chocolate is spread before rolling the piece into an elegant arch shape.
Story
With its softly arched silhouette and subtle interplay of warm orange, shimmering gold, and rich chocolate tones, this delightful creation begins with a base of OPP paper coated in orange pigment, touched with fine speckles from a sponge, dusted with gold, and finished with a smooth chocolate layer before being rolled into its graceful curve.
Ingredients
Instructions
Spread Pigment
Apply food-grade pigment to one end of the OPP base paper, then use the soft side of a sponge to spread it evenly across the entire surface until the pigment is slightly dry.
Apply Pearl Powder
Use a flat brush to evenly apply edible pearl powder over the entire surface. After application, be sure to remove any excess powder, then peel off the base paper and clean the surrounding area.
Spread Chocolate
Place equal portions of melted chocolate in 3 spots on the surface, spread it roughly 3 times with a spatula to form an even thin sheet that slightly overflows the base paper. Peel off the chocolate along with the base paper, then clean any remaining chocolate on the countertop.
Cutting
When the chocolate hardens enough that pressing it lightly with a spatula leaves a visible mark, cut it into 3 equal parts at 3cm intervals, and 2 equal parts at 5cm intervals.
Roll and Set Shape
Press the pre-rolled base paper cylinder against the chocolate, use a ruler to make it fit tightly, then roll the chocolate into an arc. After removing the ruler, secure both ends with rubber bands or tape. Once it hardens at room temperature, peel off the base paper to finish.
