Prepare Ingredients
Mix the cake flour, baking powder, salt, and cheese powder together and sift. Cut the butter into 1 cm pieces and place in the refrigerator to chill. Cut the bacon into 1 cm squares and lightly stir-fry.
Mix Flour and Butter
Sift the dry mixture back into the bowl and rub the butter in with your hands until the mixture is light and crumbly. Add the cooled bacon and gently fold to combine.
Add Milk
Pour in the milk and stir with a small spatula until evenly combined. Once no dry flour remains, gather the dough together. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour.
Shape and Bake
Preheat the oven to 200°C. Dust the work surface with flour and roll the dough out to about 2 cm thick with a rolling pin. Cut out rounds and arrange them on a baking sheet lined with a silicone baking mat, leaving space between each piece. Brush the tops with milk and lightly sprinkle with cheese powder. Bake in the 200°C oven for 13–15 minutes.
