Prepare ingredients
Peel the bamboo shoots, wash them clean, and cut into small pieces. Wash the pork ribs thoroughly.

Blanch the ribs
Place the ribs in a pot and add an appropriate amount of water. Bring to a boil over high heat and cook for a few minutes until blood foam rises to the surface.

Clean and restart
Remove the ribs from the pot and discard the water. Refill the pot with clean water and add the blanched ribs and prepared bamboo shoots to simmer.
