Blueberry Chinese Yam
After buying the Chinese yam, I made my favorite sweet dish first, which is probably the simplest recipe to prepare: just blanch the Chinese yam and add blueberry sauce, and it’s done. It’s delicious and good-looking, making for a lovely highlight on the dining table!

Step 1
Peel the yam, first cut it into segments, then cut into small strips.
Step 2
Add water to a pot and bring to a boil, then add the yam. Once the water returns to a rolling boil, blanch for 1.5 minutes, then remove.
Step 3
Rinse the blanched yam under cold water, then arrange neatly on a plate.
Step 4
Dilute the blueberry jam with a small amount of water, then spoon it over the yam strips and serve.
