Braised Assorted Meat in Tomato Sauce

Ingredients

Cooked assorted meat (sausage, ham, pork, sliced) 600 g
Onions (peeled and sliced) 250 g
Carrots (peeled and sliced) 100 g
Celery (strings removed, julienned) 100 g
Flour 15 g
Salad oil (for frying) 250 g
Minced garlic 15 g
Tomato paste 100 g
Sugar 15 g
Spicy soy sauce 10 g
Chicken broth 250 ml
Dried chili peppers 2
Bay leaves 2 slices
Refined salt (seasoning) to taste
White vinegar (seasoning) to taste

Instructions

1

Fry the Meat Slices

Cut the cooked assorted meat into slices. Heat the salad oil in a skillet until about 80% hot, add the assorted meat and stir-fry briefly, then drain off the oil.

2

Prepare the Vegetables

Peel the onions and carrots, wash them, and slice. Remove the strings from the celery, wash it, and cut into thin strips.

3

Braise the Dish

Heat a small amount of salad oil in a skillet. Add the onions, carrots, and celery and stir-fry until nearly cooked, then add the flour and stir-fry until done. Next, add the tomato paste, white vinegar, dried chilies, chicken broth, spicy soy sauce, salt, sugar, minced garlic, and bay leaves in order. Stir well with a ladle, add the stir-fried meat, bring to a gentle simmer, remove from heat, let cool, transfer to a plate, and serve.
