Ingredients
Instructions
Step 1
The meatballs can be used whether thawed or not. Wash the potato, peel it, and cut it into rolling wedges; do not rinse with water. Cut the garlic leaves into sections.
Step 2
Heat an appropriate amount of oil in the pan over medium heat, add the beef balls, and shake the pan back and forth to pan-fry the surface until yellow. If you want to be lazy, this step can be skipped.
Step 3
Remove the beef balls, leave a little base oil in the pan, add the potatoes, and pan-fry over high heat until the edges are slightly browned.
Step 4
Add the beef balls, light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, sugar, and two small bowls of water. Bring to a boil over high heat, then continue boiling over high heat uncovered until the sauce thickens. Gently stir-fry the whole mixture so the sauce coats the ingredients, then sprinkle with green onions (garlic sections) and serve. *If you have star anise, add one; it is not necessary.
Step 5
Enjoy with family and friends to your heart's content, but be careful that the juice inside the beef balls is hot; do not swallow them in one bite 😁.
