Braised Pork with Chestnuts

Ingredients
Pork (cut into chunks, pork belly or leg meat both work)
1 to 1.25 kg
Shelled chestnuts (shell and inner skin removed, halved)
300 g
Vegetable oil (for sautéing and stir-frying)
to taste
Soy sauce (for seasoning)
to taste
Scallions, chopped (for sautéing)
to taste

Cut the pork into chunks; shell and peel the chestnuts and halve them.

Heat the wok, add vegetable oil, sauté the chopped scallions until fragrant, then add the chestnuts and pork and stir-fry for a moment.

Add an appropriate amount of water and soy sauce, bring to a boil, then reduce to low heat and braise until cooked through.
