Buddha's Hand Red Bean Paste Bread
Buddha's Hand Red Bean Paste Bread is a soft, filled loaf featuring a sweet red bean paste and crunchy walnut center. The dough is shaped to resemble the fingers of a Buddha's hand fruit before being baked to a golden finish.
Story
This bread combines the comforting sweetness of red bean paste with the nutty crunch of roasted walnuts. After a slow proof in a warm, humid oven, the shaped dough develops a tender texture that contrasts nicely with the rich filling. Baked until golden, it makes for a delightful treat with tea or as a simple breakfast.
