Button potato pancakes are a cozy, traditional Chinese home-style snack named for their small, round, button-like appearance. Ingredients

sugar 1 tsp
salad oil 10g
1/2 tsp salt

Instructions

Step 1

Steam potatoes over medium heat until cooked. Peel and set aside (about 150g cooked potato).

Place cooked potatoes in a food bag and crush. Place the bag on the work surface and roll repeatedly several times.

If not sufficiently crushed, continue to mash with one end of the rolling pin.

Add salad oil, salt, sugar, and cornstarch. Mix well.
