Purple sweet potatoes and Chinese yam, peeled and cut into chunks, placed in a steamer and steamed until soft.
Step 2
Mash the steamed purple sweet potatoes into a paste, add condensed milk and white sugar, and mix well. Process the steamed Chinese yam into a paste using a food processor, add an appropriate amount of glutinous rice flour, and knead into a dough.
Step 3
Tear off a piece of the yam dough, press it into a small round patty, place the purple sweet potato filling in the center, seal the opening, and roll into a ball.
Step 4
Dust the mold with glutinous rice flour, place the dough ball into the mold, and press to shape it.

Place the shaped dough on a steamer cloth, put into a steamer, and steam for 10 to 15 minutes, until the surface turns translucent.

Remove from the steamer and let cool.
