Ingredients

Almond paste (pink and white) to taste
Liqueur (for dissolving color) to taste
Food coloring (red) to taste
Vacuum freeze-dried berry powder to taste

Instructions

1

Mix two-color almond paste

Prepare about 60g each of pink and white almond paste. Roll with the palms of your hands into intertwined two-color rope shapes with uniform thickness.

2

Cut into strips

Cut the rope-shaped strips in half. Roll one half with a rolling pin into a flat, thin strip about twice its original length. Keep the other half covered with plastic wrap to prevent drying.

3

Extend with spatula

Hold the spatula at an angle against one side of the thin strip. Press outward and rub against the marble counter to extend it into thin sheets.

4

Imprint pattern

After mixing red and white, press into thin sheets with a light bulb, then imprint fine straight lines. Cut with a knife to create lovely, attractive carnations.
