Ingredients
Instructions
Make the toffee syrup
Make a small hole in the condensed milk cans. Choose a pot of suitable size, add enough water to submerge the two cans of condensed milk (the water level should just reach the height of the cans). Bring to a boil, then reduce to low heat, leave the lid slightly ajar, and simmer slowly for 2 hours. Add more water as needed. Remove the cans and let them cool.
Make the biscuit crust
Place the crushed biscuits in a bowl and pour the melted butter over them. Mix well, then press the mixture firmly into a prepared pie dish to form an even crust — press the edges first and finish with the base. Bake in a preheated oven for 10 minutes, then remove and place on a wire rack to cool slightly before chilling in the refrigerator until needed.
Make the chocolate filling
Let the chocolate cool to lukewarm. Whip the double cream to the right consistency, then fold it into the chocolate along with the vanilla extract. Pour the chocolate mixture into the biscuit crust and spread it evenly. Refrigerate until the filling is set.
Assemble the filling
Open the cooled condensed milk cans; the milk should now have a toffee color. Pour both cans into a bowl and beat until smooth, then pour over the chocolate layer in the pie crust. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
Decorate and serve
When ready to serve, add the toppings. Slice the bananas and arrange them over the toffee layer, then spread a thick layer of whipped cream on top. Finish with chocolate curls and a light dusting of cocoa powder.
