Ingredients

beef brisket (washed, cut into chunks) 400g
shiitake mushrooms (root ends removed, soaked and washed) 100g
salt 3g
chicken bouillon 2g
soy sauce to taste
vegetable oil to taste
cooking wine to taste
water starch to taste
shiitake mushroom

Instructions

Step 1

Wash the beef brisket, cut into chunks; remove the stems of the shiitake mushrooms, soak until rehydrated and rinse clean.

Heat water in a pot, add the beef brisket to blanch, remove and drain excess water, set aside.

Heat vegetable oil in the pot, add the beef brisket and stir-fry for a few minutes, then add the shiitake mushrooms, season with salt, chicken bouillon, cooking wine, and soy sauce, stir to mix evenly. When the dish is nearly cooked, add an appropriate amount of cornstarch slurry to simmer, wait until the sauce reduces and thickens, then transfer to a casserole dish to serve.
