desiccated coconut 10g

Step 1

Slice the carrot and potato, then steam in a pot for 20 minutes until cooked. Tip: All root vegetables can be used for this recipe, such as purple sweet potato, sweet potato, and Chinese yam.

2

Step 2

Mash the potato into a puree, adding a small amount of milk while mashing.

3

Step 3

Add a small amount of milk to the carrot, then blend into carrot puree using a food processor.

4

Step 4

Mix a small amount of carrot puree into the mashed potato, then roll the combined mixture into balls. The mashed potato can also be rolled into balls separately.

5

Step 5

Sprinkle some desiccated coconut on top, and the balls are ready to eat by hand. If they feel not firm enough when pressed and are a bit soft to hold, bake them in an oven at 180 degrees for an additional 5 minutes.

Step 6

Youma says: The final step is optional; you can choose to bake or not. For your first time making this, you can bake half and leave the other half unbaked, to see which texture your baby prefers.
