These crispy sesame sticks are a delightful homemade snack. The dough is rested, rolled thin, and cut into strips before being dipped in milk and coated with nutty sesame seeds. Deep-frying them until golden brown ensures a satisfying crunch.

Ingredients

All-purpose flour as needed
Egg 1
Cooking oil 1 spoon
Salt 1 small spoon
Milk as needed
Sesame seeds as needed
Oil for frying as needed

Instructions

Prepare the dough

Combine flour, one egg, a spoon of oil, and a small spoon of salt. Mix well and knead into a smooth dough.

Rest the dough

Let the dough rest for 30 minutes to relax the gluten.

Shape the sticks

Roll the dough out into a thick sheet and cut it into thin strips.

Coat the sticks

Dip the strips into milk to moisten the surface, then roll them in sesame seeds to coat evenly.

Heat oil in a pan over medium heat (about 50% heat). Place the coated sticks in the oil and fry until golden brown.
