Cured Pork Sticky Rice

Ingredients

Chinese sausage (washed) 2
Cured pork (washed) 100 g
Dried shrimp (washed and soaked for 10 minutes) to taste
Winter bamboo shoots to taste
Chopped green onions to taste
Glutinous rice (washed and soaked for 1 hour) 500 g
Water 2 tbsp
Salt to taste
Chicken essence to taste

Instructions

Step 1

Wash the glutinous rice and soak in clean water for 1 hour. Wash the dried shrimp and soak in clean water for 10 minutes. Rinse the cured meats with clean water and set aside.

Step 2

Combine the soaked glutinous rice and dried shrimp. Microwave on high for 10 minutes, then place the cured meats on top of the rice. Switch to medium power and microwave for about 18 minutes.

Step 3

Microwave the seasonings on medium for 2 minutes until the sugar dissolves, then drizzle the sauce over the rice and serve.
