Instructions

Frying the beef
First, cut the beef leg meat into cubes, sprinkle with salt, deep-fry until golden, and transfer to a braising pot.

Braising
Add water, soy sauce, shredded onion, sliced carrot, bay leaf, and dry red wine. Braise over low heat for 2-3 hours until the beef becomes tender.

Sautéing the curry
Heat a sauté pan, briefly stir-fry the diced onion, celery segments, bay leaf, and minced garlic. Add flour and stir-fry until fragrant, then add curry powder and stir-fry until aromatic.

Fricassée
Pour the chicken broth into the pan and bring to a boil. Add curry paste, salt, and MSG to mix well, then add the cooked beef into the pan, stir to combine and let it simmer briefly. Remove from heat, plate, and serve.
