Step 1
60g walnut kernels (ground into powder using a food processor), 100g eggs, 2g salt, 30g sugar, 100g flour, 2g baking soda, 20g butter. Mix all ingredients evenly and stir until it forms a dough. Place in the refrigerator to rest for half an hour;
Step 2
Divide the dough into 9 small dough pieces of about 35g each. Take one of them and roll it into a 20cm long strip;
Step 3
Coil the long strip into a crossed knot shape (resembling folded arms), and place it on a baking tray lined with a non-stick baking mat;
Step 4
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius, place on the middle rack, and bake with top and bottom heat for 15 minutes.
