Story

Working with fondant can be quite a challenge. While draping it over a round cake is relatively straightforward, getting a flawless finish on a square or sharply angled cake requires a whole different level of skill and patience.

Ingredients

eggs 5 pcs
sugar 125
cocoa powder 30g
cake flour 100
oil 42
assorted colored fondant 500g

Instructions

Step 1

Beat 5 eggs and sugar over a water bath until fluffy.

Step 2

Add sifted cake flour and mix well in 3 batches.

Step 3

Add 42g salad oil and mix well. Use a regular 10-inch mold, put into the oven at 175°C for 45 minutes.

Step 4

Cover the cake with white fondant, use black to make small decorations, brush silver food coloring onto the small accessories with a paintbrush.
