Fruit and White Fungus Soup

Fruit and Silver Ear Soup

1 apple, 1 pear, 1 orange, 1 peach, appropriate amount of dried silver ear (tremella)

Step 1
Select fresh fruits, peel them, and cut into small pieces. I saw peaches yesterday, so I bought one. Choose fruits that are suitable for cooking—as shown in the image above, apples, pears, peaches, oranges, and tangerines all work. Longan and mandarins work as well.
Step 2
For the fresh white fungus, I selected about 25 grams, rinsed it, and tore it into small florets. Bring water to a boil in a pot, then add the rock sugar and white fungus and cook for 15 minutes.
Step 3
Peel the fruits and cut into small pieces.
Step 4
After cooking for 15 minutes, the fresh white fungus will have released its gelatin. Add the fruits and cook for one to two minutes, then it's ready to serve. Sweet and mellow—deliciously tasty! Isn't it simple?
