Hand-Torn Cabbage

Hand-Torn Cabbage

Ingredients

cabbage (washed, old leaves removed, torn into pieces) 650 g
dried chili (diced) 15 g
Sichuan peppercorns to taste
garlic (minced) to taste
cilantro to taste
cooking oil to taste
chicken powder to taste
light soy sauce to taste
salt to taste

Instructions

Step 1

Wash the cabbage, discard the tough outer leaves, and tear it into rough pieces; dice the dried chilies and mince the garlic.

Heat the oil in a wok, add the minced garlic, diced dried chilies, and Sichuan peppercorns, lower the heat and cook until fragrant, then turn the heat up, add the cabbage, and stir-fry quickly until the leaves are slightly softened and just translucent. Season with chicken powder, light soy sauce, and salt, and toss to combine.

Transfer the stir-fried cabbage to a serving plate, garnish with cilantro leaves, and serve immediately.
