Hawthorn Shrimp

River shrimp (cut off antennae, wash, marinate then coat with cornstarch) As needed
Hawthorn (chopped) As needed
Salt As needed
Chopped green onion As needed
Ginger slices As needed
Sichuan peppercorns As needed
Yellow wine (Shaoxing wine) As needed
Cornstarch As needed
Salad oil As needed

Ingredient preparation

Cut off the antennae of the shrimp, wash, then add salt, chopped green onion, ginger slices, Sichuan peppercorns, and yellow wine; marinate for 10 minutes, remove, and coat with cornstarch. Chop the hawthorn.

Fry the shrimp

Place a wok on the stove and heat salad oil to 70% hot. Add the shrimp and fry until cooked, then pour the shrimp along with the oil into a strainer.

Stir-fry

Then pour the shrimp back into the wok, add the chopped hawthorn and stir-fry to combine. Serve.
