Lemon Juice Salmon Fillets with Asparagus
Pan-seared salmon fillet cooked to a golden brown, served with asparagus and drizzled with fresh lemon juice.
Ingredients
Salmon (cut into fillets about 0.5 cm thick, 5 cm wide, 8 cm long)
1
Asparagus (washed, tough ends trimmed, cut in half)
2
Lemon
4 slices
Wine
1 tbsp
Garlic powder
1 tsp
Fine salt
1 tsp
Butter (about half a matchbox in size)
1 small piece
Instructions
1
Marinating
Cut the salmon into fillets and marinate with fine salt and wine for 5 minutes.
2
Preparing the Asparagus
Wash the asparagus, trim off the tough ends, cut in half, and blanch in salted water until just tender.
3
Pan-Frying the Salmon
Place the butter in a skillet and, once melted, sprinkle in the garlic powder. Lay the marinated salmon fillets in the hot butter and pan-fry over medium-low heat until golden on both sides. Transfer to a plate and arrange the asparagus and lemon slices alongside. When serving, squeeze the lemon juice directly over the fish.
