Lotus Leaf Simmered Rabbit

Lotus Leaf Simmered Rabbit

Ingredients

Rabbit meat (wash to remove bloodstains, cut into large chunks) 500 g
Lotus leaves (wash and cut into pieces 10 cm long by 6 cm wide) 200 g
Ginger 15 g
Fine salt to taste
Soy sauce to taste
Vinegar to taste
Sesame oil to taste

Instructions

Step 1

Wash the rabbit meat to remove any bloodstains, cut it into large chunks, and place into a pot.

Wash the lotus leaves and cut them into pieces 10 cm long by 6 cm wide, then add them to the pot together with the sliced ginger.

Add an appropriate amount of cold water and fine salt. Bring the pot to a boil over high heat, then reduce to low heat and simmer.

Once the rabbit meat is fully cooked, remove it from the pot and cut into small dice. Mix with soy sauce, vinegar, and sesame oil, then transfer to a plate and serve.
