Magnolia Flower Black Fish Soup
Snakehead fish simmered with magnolia blossoms to fortify the spleen, tonify deficiency, and clear the nasal passages.
Ingredients
Magnolia flowers (cut into shreds)

Fresh black fish (make straight cuts on both sides)
1 (approx. 500 g)
Pea shoots

Chicken broth

Seasonings (salt, MSG, scallion, ginger, cooking wine, etc.)

Cook the fish
Cut the magnolia flowers into shreds. Rinse the black fish, make straight cuts on both sides, blanch in boiling water, remove the skin, then briefly sauté in oil, add chicken broth and seasonings, and simmer until cooked through.

Sprinkle with the magnolia flower shreds, drizzle with chicken fat, and serve.
