Ingredients

Tofu (mixed into filling) half
Ground pork (for filling) a pinch
Napa cabbage leaves (blanched and cooled, for wrapping) a pinch
Dried shrimp a pinch
Sichuan pepper powder a pinch
Salt (some for filling, some for thickening sauce) a pinch
Soy sauce a pinch
MSG a pinch
Scallion (minced) a pinch
Ginger (minced) a pinch
Cornstarch (for thickening) a pinch

Instructions

1

Assembling and Steaming

Mix the tofu with salt, Sichuan pepper powder, dried shrimp, soy sauce, scallion, minced ginger, and MSG to form a filling. Blanch the cabbage leaves briefly in boiling water, then transfer to cold water to cool. Use half a cabbage leaf to wrap the tofu filling and the other half to wrap the ground pork filling. Arrange the rolls on a plate and steam until cooked through.

2

Thickening the Sauce

In a pan, add a ladle of broth and a small pinch of salt, thicken with cornstarch, and pour over the steamed rolls to finish.
