A Chinese recipe for chicken rolls with molten filling, featuring chicken breast, black pepper, cooking wine, oyster sauce, and eggs.
Ingredients
Instructions
Step 1
Wash the chicken breast, remove the membrane, slice into thin pieces, and trim them into rectangles. Gently pound both sides with the back of a knife so the thickness is as even as possible.
Step 2
Combine the cooking wine, oyster sauce, and black pepper powder in a bowl and stir well.
Step 3
Add the chicken breast slices and massage until evenly coated. Marinate for 20 minutes (refrigerating overnight gives even better results).
Step 4
Prepare the cornstarch, egg wash, and breadcrumbs in separate dishes.
Step 5
Lay a sheet of plastic wrap on the work surface, place one chicken breast slice on top, and add an appropriate amount of mozzarella cheese.
Step 6
Roll up the chicken slice tightly, and brush a little cornstarch on the edges so they seal together better.
Step 7
Coat the roll with a thin layer of cornstarch.
Step 8
Dip it in egg wash, then finally coat it evenly with breadcrumbs.
Step 9
Place the rolls in a flat skillet and pan-fry over low heat.
Step 10
Fry until cooked through and both sides are golden brown.
