Step 1
Let the oatmeal porridge cool to a warm temperature, then add an appropriate amount of yeast. The oatmeal porridge should be slightly thick. If there is not enough oatmeal, you can add an appropriate amount of instant oatmeal flakes.
Step 2
Pour the mixture into the flour.
Step 3
Stir briefly with chopsticks.
Step 4
Knead with water into a dough with moderate hardness and softness. Let it ferment naturally.
Step 5
The fermented dough.
Step 6
Knead out the air and shape into a round ball.
Step 7
Divide evenly into small dough portions.
Step 8
Take a small dough portion and knead it into a small steamed bun shape.
Step 9
Let the shaped steamed buns rest for more than 20 minutes. It is cold today, so I let them rest a bit longer. Place them in a cold steamer and steam over medium heat for 25 minutes.
Step 10
The cooked oat steamed buns are white, fluffy and soft, and you can still see the oatmeal particles.
