Octopus and Pig's Trotter Soup
Octopus and pig’s trotters are simmered together into a thick soup believed to nourish qi and blood and promote milk production. It is suitable for people with low milk supply after childbirth.
Ingredients
Octopus (soaked in cold water until softened, then sliced)

Pig's trotter (singed to remove the hair, hoof removed, and the meat scored with a knife)

Step 1
Soak the octopus in cold water until the dried octopus is soft, then slice it. Singe the pig's trotter to remove the hair, remove the hoof, and score the meat with a knife.

Place a pot over the heat, add enough water to cover the ingredients, and add the octopus and pig's trotter. Bring to a boil and simmer until the broth thickens.
