Pan-Fried Stinky Tofu with Edamame

Ingredients

edamame (shelled and deveined) 150 g
stinky tofu (washed, cut into small pieces, drained) 2
oil (for frying and stir-frying) to taste
salt to taste
MSG to taste

Instructions

1

Prepare ingredients

Wash the stinky tofu, cut it into small pieces, and drain well. Shell the edamame and remove the outer skin.

2

Fry the stinky tofu

Heat oil in a wok until hot, then deep-fry the stinky tofu until golden brown and remove with a slotted spoon.

3

Stir-fry the edamame

Leave a small amount of oil in the wok, heat to about 80% hot, then add the edamame and stir-fry until cooked through.

4

Combine and season

Return the fried stinky tofu to the wok, add a splash of water along with salt and MSG. Once the sauce has reduced and nearly dried up, transfer to a plate and serve.
