Peanut Butter Cheesecake Squares

Ingredients

Graham cracker crumbs 1 1/2 cup
Sugar 3 tbsp
Butter flavor Crisco (melted) 1/4 cup
Milk 1 tbsp
Cream cheese (8 oz, softened) 1 package
Creamy Peanut Butter 1/4 cup
Sugar 1/4 cup
Milk 1/4 cup
Egg 1
Chopped peanuts (optional) 1/2 cup
Semi-sweet chocolate chips 1/4 cup
Butter Flavor Crisco 1 tsp

Instructions

Base

Preheat the oven to 350°F. Mix the cracker crumbs and 3 tbsp of sugar in a small bowl. Combine the melted Butter Flavor Crisco with 1 tbsp of milk and stir into the crumb mixture. Gently press into an 8x8x2 inch baking pan. Bake at 350°F for 20 to 22 minutes.

Filling

In a small bowl, beat the cream cheese and peanut butter with an electric mixer at medium speed until well blended. Add 1/4 cup sugar, 1/4 cup milk, and the egg. Beat until smooth. Stir in the chopped nuts. Spread over the baked crust. Return to the oven. Bake for 20 to 22 minutes until set.

Drizzle

Melt the chocolate chips and Butter Flavor Crisco over very low heat or in the microwave at 50% power. Stir to combine. Drizzle the chocolate mixture over the cake by passing a spoon back and forth. Refrigerate. Cut into 2x2 inch squares. Cover and store in the refrigerator.
