Quick Fermented Tofu Pork Ribs

Ingredients

pork ribs about 400g

Instructions

1

Step 1

Rinse the freshly bought pork ribs, then pat dry.

2

Step 2

Put 2/3 block of fermented tofu, 1/2 tsp brown sugar powder, 1/3 tsp white pepper, 1 tbsp rice wine, 1/2 tsp dark soy sauce, and 1/2 tbsp mirin into a large bowl. Mash the fermented tofu and mix the sauce until smooth.

3

Step 3

Add the pork ribs, massage and marinate until all the seasoning is absorbed, then add 1 tbsp water and 1/2 tbsp cornstarch, mixing evenly.

4

Step 4

Add 2 tbsp vegetable oil and mix evenly. Place a steaming rack on a plate and spread the ribs flat on the rack so hot air can circulate underneath.

5

Step 5

Place in an air fryer, set to 370°F for 30 minutes.

6

Step 6

When the time is up, flip each rib and check whether the meat is fully cooked. If not done yet, set another 10 minutes or longer until fully cooked. If nearly done or already done, set 5 more minutes to dry and brown the bottom side. The ribs must be fully cooked! Enjoy!
