These golden buns combine the natural sweetness of pumpkin puree with a rich red bean paste center. The dough is kneaded until smooth and elastic, then baked until the surface is lightly colored, offering a soft and aromatic treat perfect for everyday snacking.

Step 1
Prepare the pumpkin by peeling and removing the seeds.

Cut into small pieces and steam in a pot until cooked through.
Step 3
Pour into the bread machine and start a jam program; mashing directly is also fine, just not as smooth.

Place all ingredients except butter into the bread machine; reserve a small amount of milk and add as needed.

Start a dough program and add the butter after ten minutes.

Continue kneading until a thin film can be stretched out.

Cover with plastic wrap and ferment until doubled in size.

Take out and degas.
