Story

After using the COOK100 combo pack to make roasted ribs and wings, I decided to experiment with a pizza recipe. Rather than relying on a traditional flour dough, I used leftover rice for the crust, transforming everyday leftovers into an enticing and delicious meal.

Ingredients

Rice 150g
Tomatoes 200g
Mozzarella 150g
Five-spice diced pork 80g
Onion 100g
Butter 40g
Green bell pepper

Instructions

1

Step 1

Scrape the surface of the tomatoes with a spoon to peel them, or blanch them in boiling water to peel and set aside.

2

Step 2

Finely dice the onion and tomatoes, mince the garlic, and set aside.

3

Step 3

Place butter in a pan and melt over low heat. Add the minced garlic and stir-fry until fragrant, then add the diced onion and stir-fry until fragrant.

4

Step 4

Add the diced tomatoes and stir-fry for 2 minutes, then add pepper, sugar, and salt. Continue to slow stir-fry over low heat for about 10 minutes, then add oregano.

5

Step 5

Continue to stir-fry over low heat for another 10 minutes or more, simmering until it thickens and there is no excess liquid; the pizza sauce is now ready. Be sure to use low heat for this step, simmering for at least 20 minutes, otherwise the sauce will dry out quickly and the resulting flavor will not be rich.

6

Step 6

Evenly spread the rice in a pizza pan and press it down firmly with your hands. Do not leave the rice too loose and soft; this ensures the resulting pizza base holds its shape well and makes the rice crust taste better.

7

Step 7

Evenly spread the pizza sauce over the rice. Once spread, bake in an oven preheated to 160°C (320°F) for 10 minutes. This will make the bottom of the rice crust firmer and allow it to fully absorb the flavor of the pizza sauce.

8

Step 8

Use a vegetable peeler to shave the mozzarella into thin slices, then spread a layer of mozzarella over the baked rice.

9

Step 9

Add the diced pork.

10

Step 10

Then cut the green bell peppers and onions into juliennes and rings, and lay them on top.

11

Step 11

Finally, cover the top completely with mozzarella once again.

12

Step 12

Bake in the oven at 160°C for 15 minutes and it is done.

13

Step 13

The rice crust pizza is ready to eat. Look at the cheese pull, the cheese flavor is very rich.
