Simple Savory Noodle Toss

Story

This recipe embraces the versatility of home cooking. Feel free to use whatever vegetables you have on hand. The key is to create a flavorful sauce with the vegetables so that every strand of noodle is coated in deliciousness.

Ingredients

Fresh noodles or wheat noodles 200g
Bok choy or leafy greens 2 cups, chopped
Bell pepper 1, sliced
Soy sauce 2 tbsp
Sesame oil 1 tbsp

Instructions

1

Prepare the ingredients

Wash your chosen vegetables thoroughly and slice them into bite-sized pieces. Have all your cooking tools and seasonings ready before turning on the heat.

2

Stir-fry the vegetables

Heat a wok or skillet over high heat with a splash of oil. Toss in the vegetables and stir-fry until they are just tender. Season with soy sauce and create a bit of sauce in the pan to coat the noodles later.

3

Boil the noodles

Bring a pot of water to a rolling boil. Cook the noodles according to the package instructions until they are done, then drain them immediately.

4

Combine and toss

While the noodles are hot, add them directly into the wok with the cooked vegetables. Use chopsticks or tongs to toss everything together vigorously, ensuring the noodles are well-coated with the vegetable sauce and oil. Serve immediately.
