Soy-Braised Chicken Bone Elbows
Soy-braised chicken bone elbows simmered with beer and aromatic spices.
Story
The chicken elbows are blanched, then stir-fried with aromatics and braised in a mixture of beer and water until tender.
Ingredients
Chicken bone-in elbows

Braised soy sauce
2 tbsp
White sugar
1 tbsp
Bay leaves

Cinnamon bark

Star anise

Dried chili peppers

Beer

Step 1
Thaw the chicken bone elbows and clean them thoroughly; prepare the ingredients.

Blanch.

Add oil, stir-fry the ingredients, add the chicken bone elbows and stir-fry, then add soy sauce and continue stir-frying; add salt and stir-fry evenly.

Pour in half a bottle of beer.

Add one and a half bowls of water, bring to a boil over high heat, add sugar, then turn to low heat and simmer slowly for 20 minutes.
