Squid and Shredded Pork Stir-Fry

Ingredients

Squid (cut into strips, blanched in boiling water) 150g
Shredded pork (coated with starch) 100g
Bell pepper strips 30g
Winter bamboo shoot strips 30g
Salt 2g
MSG (monosodium glutamate) 2g
Soy sauce 3g
Cooking wine 5g
Cooking oil (for stir-frying) 30g
Cornstarch slurry (for coating and thickening) to taste
Sesame oil (drizzled before serving) to taste

Instructions

Prepare the ingredients

Cut the squid into strips and blanch in boiling water. Coat the shredded pork with starch.

Stir-fry the shredded pork

Heat oil in a wok until hot, add the shredded pork and stir-fry until separated, then drain and set aside.

Combine and finish the dish

Leave a little oil in the wok, add the squid strips and shredded pork, add the aromatics and seasonings, stir-fry to combine, thicken with cornstarch slurry, then drizzle with cooking oil and sesame oil before serving.
