Prepare the Filling
Cut the Char Siu pork into small pieces, mince the scallions and ginger, add soy sauce and salt, and mix into a filling.
Prepare the Dough
Add sugar, warm water, and baking powder to the flour. Let rest for two hours. When the dough has risen, add sesame oil and white sugar.
Wrap and Steam
Divide the dough into portions and roll into wrappers that are thick in the middle and thin on the edges. Wrap the Char Siu pieces and minced scallions and ginger into buns. Steam in a steamer for 15 minutes.
