red chili pepper (washed and sliced) 1
green chili pepper (washed and sliced) 1
ginger (washed and sliced) 1 small piece
starch (for cornstarch slurry) to taste
cooking oil 30 g
sesame oil 1 tsp
doubanjiang (chili bean paste) 3 tsp
fine salt 1 tsp
MSG 2 tsp

Instructions

1

Prepare Ingredients

Remove all fat from the beef heart top, wash and cut into thick slices. Wash and slice the chilies and ginger.

2

Blanch

Add water to a pot and bring to a boil. Add the cut beef heart top, blanch to remove any off-odor, then drain.

3

Stir-fry

Heat oil in a wok. Add ginger, doubanjiang, and chilies, and stir-fry until fragrant. Add the beef heart top slices and stir-fry over high heat briefly. Season with salt and MSG, stir until well combined. Thicken with a cornstarch slurry, drizzle with sesame oil, and serve.
