Stir-fried Pork with Cabbage

Stir-fried Pork with Cabbage

Ingredients

Cabbage (washed, drained, cut into strips then diagonally into diamond-shaped pieces) 400 g
Lean pork (sliced thin) 50 g
Shredded scallion 10 g
Shredded ginger 10 g
Sichuan peppercorns (fried until fragrant then removed) to taste
Salt to taste
MSG to taste
Vegetable oil to taste

Prep ingredients

Pick through and wash the cabbage, then drain. Cut it into strips first, then diagonally into diamond-shaped pieces; slice the lean pork into thin slices.

Stir-fry

Place a wok over high heat, add vegetable oil. Heat to approximately 40% heat, add Sichuan peppercorns, fry until fragrant then remove the peppercorns. Add the sliced pork and stir-fry until it turns white, then add shredded scallion and ginger to aromatize. Add the cabbage and stir-fry, season with salt. Stir-fry until the cabbage is just cooked, add MSG, stir to combine evenly and serve.
