This classic preserve beautifully captures the pure, fruity essence of strawberries in every jar.

Ingredients

Strawberry
White sugar
Rock sugar

Instructions

1

Step 1

Wash the bought strawberries clean with water, soak them in light salt water for 10 minutes, then take them out and drain.

2

Step 2

Remove the stems from the strawberries, and marinate them slightly with white sugar.

3

Step 3

Pour them into a blender, add an appropriate amount of water, and blend into strawberry puree.

4

Step 4

Then pour it into a cooking pot, turn on high heat first, and after it boils, slowly simmer over low heat.

5

Step 5

Keep stirring while simmering to prevent the strawberries from sticking to the pot.

6

Step 6

When it simmers to a slightly thick consistency, add rock sugar.

7

Step 7

Wait until the rock sugar melts and the strawberries become even thicker, then turn off the heat and let it cool.

8

Step 8

Prepare a clean bottle (scalded with boiling water) and fill it with the cooled strawberry jam. (The strawberry jam should not be stored in the refrigerator for too long; it is best to consume it within a week or so.)
