Stuffed Cucumber

Ingredients

cucumber (wash, peel, cut into small segments, remove the seeds from the center) 1
minced meat 1 cup
shiitake mushrooms (soak in cold water until soft, chop into fine pieces) a few
dried shrimp (soak in cold water until soft, remove the digestive tract, chop into fine pieces) a pinch
ginger (chop finely) a pinch
salt 1 tsp
MSG a pinch

Instructions

1

Step 1

Soak the shiitake mushrooms and dried shrimp separately in cold water until soft. Use a toothpick to scrape off the digestive tract on the back of the dried shrimp, then chop both into fine pieces.

2

Step 2

Place the minced meat in a large bowl. Add the chopped shiitake mushrooms, dried shrimp, salt, MSG, and chopped ginger. Stir evenly and let rest for 10 minutes.

3

Step 3

Next, wash the cucumber, peel it, then cut it into small segments about 4-5 cm high. Carefully scoop out the seeds from the center to hollow out the cucumber into a tube shape.

4

Step 4

Stuff the minced meat filling into the center of the cucumber, leaving a small amount of filling protruding from the surface. Once stuffed, place the cucumber pieces on a plate.

Step 5

Finally, place the plate in an electric cooker and steam for about 10 minutes, then let it rest briefly before serving.
