Vienna Apple Pastry

Vienna Apple Pastry

Ingredients

flour 2 cup
butter to taste
salt to taste
warm water to taste
apples (peeled, cored, sliced thin) to taste
cinnamon powder to taste
breadcrumbs (or cookie crumbs, cake crumbs) 1 cup
sugar to taste

Instructions

Step 1

Mix all ingredients evenly, knead into a smooth, uniform dough, divide into 16 portions, roll each into a ball, cover with a cloth and let rest for 1 hour

Peel, core, and thinly slice the apples, mix with sugar and cinnamon powder, steam for 5 minutes or heat in the microwave for 3 minutes

Sprinkle some flour on a completely smooth work surface. Take 1 portion of dough and roll it out as thinly as possible, until it is almost translucent

Heat the butter until melted, brush it over the thin dough sheet, then sprinkle with 1 tablespoon of breadcrumbs

Place 1/16 of the apple filling at one end of the dough, wrap it up, and place it on a baking tray

Brush the surface with some butter, sprinkle with sugar, then bake
