Ingredients

Crucian carp (cleaned and gutted) 250g
Winter melon peel (washed) 60g
Coix seed (Job's tears) (washed) 30g
Ginger to taste
Refined salt to taste
Water 1000g

Instructions

Step 1

Clean and gut the crucian carp, wash the winter melon peel and coix seed, place them all into a pot, add the ginger, refined salt, and 1000g of water.

Bring the pot to a boil over high heat, then reduce to low heat and simmer for 30–40 minutes, until the coix seed is thoroughly cooked.
