Prep the fillings
Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add the asparagus and crab sticks, cooking until just tender—about 2 to 3 minutes. Drain and let cool, then cut each crab stick and asparagus spear into halves or thirds, depending on your preferred size.
Wrap and secure
Take one half-strip of bacon and place a piece of crab stick at one end. Add a piece of asparagus alongside it, then roll the bacon tightly around the filling. Secure firmly with a toothpick. Repeat with the remaining bacon and filling.
Bake until golden
Preheat your oven to 220°C (425°F). Arrange the wrapped bundles on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush generously with melted butter and season lightly with salt and pepper. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the bacon is crispy and turns a deep golden color. The filling should be heated through and the bacon slightly translucent when done.
