Ingredients
Instructions
Cream the butter
Beat with an electric mixer on high speed until creamy.
Add powdered sugar
Add the powdered sugar to step 1 and mix until smooth and white.
Add eggs
Beat the eggs in a separate bowl, then gradually add to step 2 and mix until well combined.
Add flour and black tea
Add ingredient A and the crushed black tea leaves to step 3. Fold gently with a rubber spatula until no lumps remain, then bring the dough together.
Shape and chill
Divide the dough from step 4 in half, wrap each piece in plastic wrap, and shape into 4 cm square sticks. Refrigerate for about 2 hours to set.
Coat with sugar
Once firm from step 5, remove the plastic wrap. Lightly mist the surface with water, then coat thoroughly with granulated sugar.
Bake
Using a knife, cut the dough from step 6 into 8 mm thick slices. Place them spaced apart on a baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven at 170°C for 25 to 30 minutes.
Cool
Once baked, remove the cookies from the baking sheet and place on a wire rack to cool.
